SERVICES

Bring It On Studios est. 1999

Our main discipline is audio: post production editing and mixing; music mastering and recording. We also facilitate visual media formatting, audio lay back and quality control for delivery of media across different platforms. We have a long history working with digital formats stemming back to CD mastering for mass production and authoring DVDs of international films for NZ and AU distribution. Currently we serve Clients in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany and USA.

Dialogue Recording & Post Production Sound Mixing

Bring It On Studios run two main studios capable of mixing and mastering and multiple ancillary workstations. We have a full suite of post production tools and DAWs to suit any short or long form project for broadcast or digital distribution.

Our vocal booth designed and built by FlatHead Design yields a very natural, clean recording helped by a selection of Neumann and Shure microphones, Avalon and Focusrite pre amps and DBX 160SL and Buzzaudio SOC-1.1 compression. Our vocal setup suits both voice-over and singing engagements.

Stereo and Stem Mastering

Mastering aims to make music more impactful and enjoyable for listeners, it’s the final step of music production before distribution. A balance of sonic enhancement and adherence to format standards mastering is both creative and technical. To be performed at it’s best mastering requires critical listening, an accurate monitoring system and dedicated mastering environment. The end result is a polished, enhanced sound technically optimised for consistent playback across different mediums.

Bring It On Studios provide unattended mastering services. Clients are welcome to visit our studios to discuss and plan projects but we find best results are achieved when mastering is performed over several sessions including review on multiple systems. This approach allows us to charge calculated flat rates for mastering rather than by the hour.

Projects are typically supplied as file sets of ADM WAV, 24bit WAV, 16bit WAV, reference M4A (ADM encodes) and reference MP3. We can supply Red Book DDP image files for CD replication or CD-R masters for duplication and can provide digital masters meeting requirements for vinyl pressing.

Apple Digital Masters (ADM) are specifically mastered for the Apple Music Store. ADM music has a higher fidelity than non-ADM music on the Music Store, is prioritised in Music Store searches and carries an Apple Digital Master logo on the song or album's Music Store page.

Bring It On Studios are officially accredited with Apple Inc. as an approved provider of Apple Digital Masters. We ensure ADM masters conform to Apple’s ADM program levels and provide with masters our ADM Provider’s identifier.
